
2026 June- ESIX Member Meeting
So much of a new leader's success is about the dynamics of the team they are being parachuted into, as well as their relationship and 'fit' with their new boss, rather than just their own skills & abilities.
For last week's ESIX: Executive Search Information Exchange Member Meeting we were joined by ex-ESIX member and long time recruiting leader, Steven Davis, along with his colleague, Juliana Sherwood (Lutzi). They shared with us how their new solution, MY NEXT STAGE, explores the interaction between individuals, managers, teams, and environments in the context of executive hiring and onboarding. Despite all the new technology and science behind candidate assessment and evaluation, nearly 50% of leaders still fail or underperform in new roles.
To combat this, Steve and Juliana have a developed a tool that provides both graphs and detailed executive summaries to help identify team strengths, blind spots, and collaboration styles. They shared that the system can evaluate both team dynamics and individual candidate fit and help identify candidates who complement existing team strengths while addressing specific gaps. Plus, everyone that takes the initial survey gets to see their own results - a bonus for candidate experience!
