Our recent @TLIX Leaders Only meeting included a discussion about the recruiter of the future, pay transparency, and posting policies regarding candidates’ use of AI. Many members are now posting compensation ranges for all U.S. roles. Though many companies are challenged with how to address global/multi-location roles given differing country laws and currencies. Most ATS platforms are not yet capable of supporting this. One member also shared that this movement required them to retrain their hiring managers on their company’s pay philosophy. Looking to the future of recruiting, members shared many examples of how they are investing in recruiter training to shift their mindset from execution to being a strategic advisor who utilizes AI to become more efficient and effective. Several specific technology recommendations were shared. Finally, leaders shared how some companies have posted policies or expectations regarding candidates’ use of AI during the interview process. Some are using AI to detect when AI is likely being utilized. And one company shared that they have recruiters join the first few minutes of a hiring manager interview to ensure it's the candidate they are expecting. Another helpful meeting of sharing and collaboration!
