
2025 June- TLIX Leaders-Only Connect
Our June TLIX: Talent Leader Information Exchange Leaders Only meeting first focused on how TA leaders are approaching planning for the coming year differently. Themes included increasing flexibility when facing uncertainty and deeper examinations of performance drivers. One member managed a recent hiring spike with temp hires, who in some cases outperformed their fulltime recruiters. Another organization is considering how to structure the team to absorb unpredictability and reduce reactiveness. We next discussed different methods for obtaining consent from candidates for using AI note-taking tools. One company informs candidates that they can opt out, while another’s legal department required documenting candidates have opted in which unfortunately presents additional friction during candidate engagement. Most TLIX members are using AI for initial screens, but not all interviews nor hiring decisions, and they’re seeing great efficiency gains tied to note taking and summarizations. When it comes to which AI platforms to use, leaders agreed it’s hard to choose one when everything is changing so rapidly. We closed with leaders sharing helpful advice and resources for building their teams’ communication skills when engaging with audiences outside of TA or HR.
