2025 November- TLIX Leaders-Only Connect
Our recent TLIX: Talent Leader Information Exchange Leaders-Only Connect began with a discussion about how companies with hourly frontline associates are measuring quality of hire. This is a key area of focus as TA teams try to drive increased efficiency through greater automation to reduced recruiting process involvement. All of the leaders acknowledged that the business often wants to focus on retention as the primary metric, but there are several factors in the broader ecosystem that influence that. Several members mentioned they’re running focused studies between teams with high and low attrition that compare current state job experience factors as well as the impact of targeted TA process changes. Next, we discussed how global organizations are addressing pay transparency in the EU given requirements and currencies vary by country. Unfortunately, no one has an ATS that offers this type of support. Some companies are manually listing pay ranges for each country in each job description only where required. While others prefer a consistent approach in an effort to ensure accuracy, listing pay ranges for all countries whether required or not. Without ATS support, most TA teams are relying on manual internal tools to translate pay into different currencies, which are then copied and pasted into the job description. To ensure accuracy, one member requires TA leads to insert and sign off on these job descriptions. We wrapped with a discussion regarding current reference check practices when countries require different processes, and one member sharing an unfortunate situation in which a commonly utilized TA tool is no longer including a liability clause in their contracts – leaving TA customers fully responsible for any litigation related to their product.
