In Singapore last week we covered a huge range of topics, from getting more involved in org design & new role development, to hiring for AI-capable leadership, and that evergreen favorite - tips for recruiting in Japan!
After the outstanding Yuting G. of Haleon shared about their function's overview and plans at the ESIX: Executive Search Information Exchange Singapore Roundtable, participants shared some of the many challenges top of mind for them. For instance - how to move from transactional recruiting to be more involved in succession & holistic talent management; as well as capacity planning across the various markets in the region; AI fraud; & assessing for their org's future needs. We also touched on upskilling our own teams; and how to retain team members amid significant change with mergers, divestitures, restructuring going on all over. We also discussed the idea of rewarding mobility of talent to & around Asia; plus assessment tools; recommended research companies for China; and CRM's - among so many more topics!
