2026 April -TLIX Leaders-Only Connect
TLIX members are spending less time speculating about AI and more time comparing real approaches and ROI.
Our recent TLIX: Talent Leader Information Exchange Leaders-Only Connect opened with a discussion about how our members are approaching agentic AI adoption. Most are in the exploration phase, focused on being informed and intentional before scaling. Meanwhile, they’re also watching how other HR teams are advancing, with one member sharing positive reviews of a tool their people analytics group deployed on top of Workday. This led to a helpful sharing of multiple members’ LinkedIn Hiring Assistant pilots, and a new use case that’s using AI to monitor external executive talent social media activity to predict when they might be ready for a new role.
There was general consensus that smaller companies are able to be more nimble and experiment with smaller niche AI solutions. Most large companies’ review/approval processes and operational complexity result in a continued focus on more established technology with built-in AI features, but this may change in a year or two as TA’s AI proficiency becomes more sophisticated.
We also discussed several other AI issues including the ongoing quandary related to TA having greater access to data than ever before, but with fewer resources. This is putting pressure on everyone to operate differently alongside new legal and brand/candidate experience risks. We also touched on the unfortunate increase in fraudulent corporate emails being sent to candidates, with some senders now shifting to legitimate looking email addresses. It was also stressed that using AI for notetaking is increasingly important so that recruiters can actively monitor for use of AI during interviews.
