
2026 May- TLIX Leaders-Only Connect
TA leaders must frequently pivot from being strategic predictors of the future to expert tacticians tasked with ensuring tools and processes are optimized for global organizations. As was the discussion we held recently.
In our TLIX: Talent Leader Information Exchange Leaders-Only session last week, the group started by helping a leader who wanted to hear how others have configured Workday for UK-based offer letter, employment contract, and background check requirements. Members chimed in with their approaches and suggestions, resulting in several helpful recommendations that will save his team time and reduce execution complexity.
From there we looked to the future and discussed how AI is creating opportunities for increased collaboration – if not future integration – of TA with other HR functions. One of the earliest areas of overlap is the increased blending of external and internal candidates thanks to AI data integration. This led to discussions about the latest TA AI issues facing our leaders including: whether to simply let candidates choose between live recruiter interviews or AI interviews, and possible issues related to interview experience inconsistencies; one company that’s considering only focusing on referrals to combat high AI-assisted application volumes and the possible decreased diversity that this tends to create; and, opportunities to use AI to train hiring managers on interviewing/assessment.
So much to think about!
