Cost management is a high priority for the leaders of recruiting. We’re hearing concern about both out-of-date subscription models and recent vendor pricing changes.

During our recent TLIX: Talent Leader Information Exchange Leaders-Only Connect with the heads of member recruiting organizations, several leaders wanted to discuss TA service providers’ pricing and new tiered models. One issue pertained to global pricing models with a leading provider using U.S. pricing for global contracts. This is often misaligned with the budgets of smaller countries. Many of our global members manage recruiting costs per geography through charge-back budgets and this vendor approach is putting significant pressure on the ROI when using certain services and tools outside the U.S. This led to a discussion about the ROI of certain recruiting tools and we found consistent comments that described lower value add which has led to decreased usage. Given the disruption our industry is experiencing with the adoption of AI, the market for better technology and pricing options that better match customers’ typical use cases seems ripe for new solutions to gain traction.
