
2025 July- TLIX Deep Dive
As expected, our latest TLIX: Talent Leader Information Exchange Deep Dive discussion regarding Candidate Experience started with a focus on AI. Members shared tips about how they and their interview teams are handling balancing messaging that they are using AI for notetaking, assessment, etc. while also requesting that candidates not use AI assistance during interviews and assessments. In response to complaints about candidates pausing in video interviews to read from scripts, other members offered techniques for identifying when candidates are using AI assistance. On another tech note, one member shared they’ve found significant efficiency moving from email to WhatsApp candidate communications – similar to our research. Beyond technology, members talked about how they’re continuing to manage changing pay transparency requirements across geographies and the related impact on internal employees, as well as approaches to measuring candidate satisfaction and targeting areas of improvement. We closed with a discussion about candidate assessment and considerations for different nationalities and cultural norms and a desire to continue the discussions.
