
2025 July- TLIX Leaders-Only Connect
Last week’s TLIX: Talent Leader Information Exchange Leaders-Only Connect covered a range of topics: First, the leaders provided advice to a member whose team is recruiting candidates who speak a range of languages other than English and Spanish for US manufacturing roles. A variety of suggestions included strategies for supporting via the existing TA team, through external vendors, or by utilizing translation and technology solutions – plus consideration for combining approaches to quickly bridge the current gap and compare effectiveness. We then discussed advice for recruiting candidates with limited technology access and/or familiarity. One global TA team leverages their consumer call center support, and another member shared a creative operational process they’re piloting. Next, we discussed recommendations for outsourcing a global sourcing function, including a discussion about a few companies that are experimenting with 100% AI-based sourcing. The discussion included a variety of highlight/lowlight scenarios and lessons learned related to implementing AI solutions. There’s some anticipation for another wave of TA tech consolidation which may create another pivot point for the industry, so it’s important to understand the vendor’s roadmap, agility, and interoperability since tech is moving so rapidly. We closed with helpful advice for a member who is assessing a few popular CRM solutions.
