2025 September- TLIX Deep Dive

Published on September 26, 2025

Our recent TLIX: Talent Leader Information Exchange Deep Dive focused on Talent Attraction. We kicked off with a poll that confirmed almost 60% of the participants are using AI to automate defined and repetitive tasks, while the rest have extended to also using AI to draft content and deliver personalized experiences. No one was using AI without human intervention. From there we discussed AI advancements. Smaller recruitment marketing teams are experiencing supercharged productivity thanks to AI – doing much more with less! We noticed that most participating companies are using Copilot due to Office/Teams licensing agreements, but one member wondered what will happen when more Gen Z leaders who grew up on G-suite products are making platform decisions.
With regard to AI issues, many have heard about potential AI biases, but haven’t experienced them in their talent attraction efforts yet nor seen this flagged in their audits. One member shared how they’re messaging guidance to candidates that dissuades them from using AI during interviews, but acknowledged that it’s tricky to message this when their recruiters are using AI at various stages of the interview process. We’ve observed this as an ongoing tension throughout our TLIX meetings.

We then moved on to budget-friendly marketing idea sharing and heard about a successful employee-generated video campaign and handy video editing app. Members also shared experiments that they’re using to simultaneously boost their results on both traditional search engines and LLMs. Another great session!
