
2025 September- ESIX Research Roundtable
In our quarterly ESIX Research Roundtable session last week we held an all-star panel on 'Research at the Intersection of Human Judgment and AI', with Kaylee Baldassin of Expedia Group, Jordan Haberer of Box, & Mary Dinh, CIR of Northwestern Mutual. Our panelists and general participants discussed AI's role in recruitment, with panelists exploring how AI can complement human judgment while highlighting its limitations and ethical considerations. Participants shared their experiences with various AI tools in recruitment processes, including challenges with resume screening, data privacy, and regional differences in AI adoption. The discussion concluded with concerns about AI model influence and security, while emphasizing the importance of transparency and ethical policies in AI implementation. So many facets to this conversation, and we could undoubtedly have discussed it for hours more!
